Easter Weekend Events for the whole family

Easter weekend is quickly approaching and events are set in place for everyone ranging from families to adults seeking an exciting weekend getaway!

Let’s go fly a kite!! On Friday, April 19th, the annual kite festival will be held on Jockey’s Ridge sand dunes for not only the kids to see but all the Outer Banks onlookers! This festival is in honor of National Kite Month and will feature several vibrantly colorful and fun kites ranging from 30 feet to 100 feet in length!

Easter Bunny Time!! On Saturday, April 20th, there will be an Easter egg hunt held at Kitty Hawk Kites in Nags Head. Making a special appearance will be the Easter Bunny who will be posing for pictures throughout the event! Both events are open and free to the public. Adults only!! For adults that are not looking to hunt for Easter eggs, there will be the first Spring Scare Fair held at Secret Islands Restaurant on April 19th and April 20th 2019. The Scare Fair admission is free to the public. On Friday night, there will be a Halfway to Halloween Bash held featuring a costume contest with opportunities to win prizes for best dressed.
