Nine family members ranging in age from 28 to 86 enjoyed a week at Forbes Fever in mid March, 2023. Our stay was delightful. We came from Kansas, St. Louis and Wake Forest. The house allowed us plenty of together space but also allowed us to have our own private spaces. The home is lovely with a well equipped kitchen and a large dining room table that accommodated everyone and was a great place for playing cards and working puzzles. We were there preseason so it was cold some days but we enjoyed the walks along the ocean even if we had to bundle up. This was a great central location for visiting Hattaras and Roanoke and Manteo. Our party also included a seven year old Wire Fox Terrier who thoroughly enjoyed himself. We loved staying in this charming beach home. The elevator was a bonus and really helpful for my mother. -5 Stars
