Overall Peppers Cottage was a great little place for me and my wife for a week away from home. It's cute and cozy, well cared for and a short walk to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, there are board games and puzzles for evening or rainy days. The cottage is about 10 minutes from the nearest grocery, and a good many restaurants are within 15 minutes. My only criticism is the amount of housekeeping that is expected. When we arrived we were given sheets in a sealed bag for us to put on the bed. Additionally, in spite of an $85 cleaning fee that's attached when you book, they require quite an extensive clean-up before leaving including bundling the trash over to the dumpster, sweeping the floors and removing all linens and towels and placing them by the door. All that might be fine in the absence of a cleaning fee, but seems excessive given that there is that fee. -5 Stars
