Beautiful, clean, extremely roomy, polite and helpful hosts, and "easy to stay" in every way imaginable for our group of 26. The bedroom on the second floor that was directly under the 3rd floor dining table should be mindful that early risers may choose to pull out dining chairs and wake the 2nd floor sleepers. (The dining chairs are nice and sturdy, but they do make a loud dragging noise across the floor as someone pulls out the chair, which may affect those still sleeping in the bedroom directly under the dining table.) That said, the huge tables with ample seating for a large group was perfect for family meals together. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms.. We liked the theater room, pool table, 2 laundry areas, 2 full sized kitchens, and the comfortable porches. One of our favorite features was that this home was only a few minutes walk from the ocean. We enjoyed sledding on the nearby sand dunes and visiting Kitty Hawk. (We brought our own saucer sleds). We actually stayed in this very house in Feb of 2018 for a reunion as well. Both stays were late winter but still not bad temperature-wise outside, and the "off season" stay also made this reunion about as affordable as we could have possibly asked for a group of our size! We would definitely stay here again, and we most definitely recommend it to others. -5 Stars
